04Documents

Commercial invoice, packing list, CMR: we compile and check everything before departure. You provide the minimum.

05Export customs

Full customs handling built into the transport plan, not a separate obstacle: EX/EAD declaration, ENS and a GMR number in GVMS.

06Loading

At your premises or at our base (Kielce, Legnica). Straps, mats, corner protectors: and loading photos go into your documentation.

07Transit and crossing

Dunkirk-Dover crossing with GMR booked before entering the port. Position monitoring throughout.

08UK import customs

Declaration in the UK CDS system, regime 42 with deferred VAT if needed. Formalities wrapped up before the wheels touch the dock.

09Delivery or UK warehouse

Booking-in, delivery window, POD signed on the spot. Or, when needed, transhipment and storage at our Milton Keynes warehouse.

10Invoice and archive

Invoice with no surprises, and the CMR, POD and customs documents all filed in one place.

What does OPTIMUS TRANSPORT do?
Road transport and freight forwarding exclusively on the Poland-United Kingdom and Poland-Ireland routes: from groupage of a single pallet to full FTL loads, with full PL-UK customs and warehouses in Kielce, Legnica and Milton Keynes. We also consolidate cargo from Czechia, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Finland and eastern Germany. All under one responsibility, 24/7.
Do you only carry to the United Kingdom?
The UK is our main direction, both ways; we also serve Ireland, Northern Ireland and the surrounding isles. We deliver across Greater London, holding the DVS (Direct Vision Standard) permit that the capital requires from lorries over 12 tonnes. We combine transport with post-Brexit customs (ELO, ENS, GMR) and the Dunkirk-Dover crossing, and we have a warehouse in Milton Keynes.
Do you handle customs clearance?
Yes. We run full PL↔UK customs as part of the haul, with T1, EX/EAD, EUR.1 documents, ENS declarations, the GMR number and regime 42.
What do you carry the loads with?
Our own fleet (including new Renault T tractors with curtainsider trailers) and a network of vetted carriers we vouch for. Whoever carries it, the job is run and controlled by one contact, from quote to delivery.
