Terms of use

These terms set out the rules for using the optimustransport.pl website, operated by OPTIMUS TRANSPORT Artur Wiączek. The site is informational and enables contact regarding Poland-United Kingdom transport services.

Types and scope of services and technical requirements

The site provides free of charge: informational content (knowledge base, guides, glossary, tools and checklists, downloadable files), a contact form and a quote form, and Polish and English language versions. All you need is a device with an up-to-date browser supporting HTTPS; JavaScript and cookies are not required to read the content, but some features need them, such as revealing contact details, checklists and maps.

Rules

  • The content on the site (including the knowledge base, guides and downloadable files) is informational and practical; it does not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Civil Code, nor legal, customs or tax advice.
  • Customs, transport and tax rules change, so the materials may become out of date. The current law and the notices of the competent authorities (including Polish customs/PUESC, HMRC and the European Commission) always prevail. Before making a decision, verify the current information at the source or contact us. We are not liable for the consequences of relying solely on informational content without checking the position as at the date of the action.
  • The contact form is for sending an enquiry; service terms are agreed individually.
  • Providing unlawful content or using the site in a way that disrupts it is prohibited.
  • Names of exhibition venues and other locations, such as ExCeL London, NEC Birmingham or Targi Kielce, appear on this site solely descriptively, to indicate delivery locations. They belong to their owners and do not imply any affiliation with OPTIMUS TRANSPORT.

Conclusion and termination of the electronic services agreement

The agreement for services provided by electronic means is concluded when you start using the site and ends when you leave it. Sending a form does not oblige you to conclude a carriage contract; carriage terms are agreed individually and performed under our General Terms of Carriage. Complaints about the operation of the site can be sent to the e-mail address given below; we reply within 14 days.

Content, editing and artificial intelligence

We use artificial intelligence tools when preparing our knowledge base and illustrations. Every article goes through editorial review: the content is verified, completed and approved by our team, and OPTIMUS TRANSPORT Artur Wiączek holds editorial responsibility for the published material. Illustrative graphics (such as article covers) may be generated with AI; they are conceptual, do not depict real people or events and do not document specific shipments. Photos of our fleet and warehouses are genuine.
