Eleven cargo groups that regularly travel in our trucks between Poland and the United Kingdom and Ireland, in both directions. Each group has its own page: what exactly we carry, how we secure it and which documents we prepare.

What cargo does OPTIMUS TRANSPORT carry to the United Kingdom?

We carry almost everything that travels on pallets and in trailers: machinery and complete production lines, metals and fabrications, alcohol with excise handling, automotive parts, furniture, ADR chemicals, electronics, clothing, building materials, food and unusual loads. Groupage starts from a single pallet, larger volumes go as FTL.

Frequently asked questions

Will you carry a single pallet?

Yes. Our groupage LTL starts from one pallet. The goods travel in a consolidated truck with regular departures to the United Kingdom, with one consolidated customs entry and delivery to the given address.

Do you handle customs clearance for the shipped goods?

Yes, the export declaration in Poland and the import entry in the United Kingdom are part of the carriage process. We prepare the declarations from the invoice and packing list, and for special goods (excise, ADR, food) we also run the required additional filings.

How fast will cargo get from Poland to England?

Standard groupage travels on a rhythm of regular departures, and urgent shipments go by express: vans up to 2.5 t GVW drive without a tachograph and can be in England from 24 hours after loading.

Is the cargo insured on the route?

Yes. Carriage is covered by carrier liability (OCP) insurance of EUR 1,000,000 (Lutz Assekuranz), and for high-value goods we arrange additional CARGO insurance, which protects the goods themselves regardless of the scope of carrier liability.
