What we carry

ADR and chemicals

ADR transport from Poland to the UK: paints, adhesives, aerosols, 1000 l IBCs and big bags. Certified drivers, ADR paperwork, also as groupage LTL.

We carry chemicals and dangerous goods from Poland to the United Kingdom, including groupage from one pallet: paints, varnishes, adhesives, aerosols, 1000-litre IBCs, drums and granulates in big bags. ADR movements are run by certified drivers with full documentation, and the crossing is chosen to match the class of the goods.

What exactly we carry

  • ADR groupage: single pallets of dangerous goods in consolidated trucks
  • 1000-litre IBCs with industrial liquids
  • steel and plastic drums, including on certified pallets
  • paints, varnishes, solvents and adhesives
  • aerosols and limited quantity (LQ) consignments
  • granulates and polymers in big bags and octabins
  • non-ADR chemicals that only need safety data sheets

How we carry and secure it

The basics are UN-certified packaging, correct package marking and separation of goods that must not travel together. Drivers hold ADR certificates, trucks carry the equipment required by the ADR agreement, and lashing follows EN 12195. We check ferry and Eurotunnel restrictions for individual classes in advance, because they decide the routing.

Documents and procedures

For a quote and customs we need the safety data sheet (SDS), UN number, packing group and quantities. We prepare the ADR transport document, the export declaration, the UK import entry and the GMR. For limited quantities (LQ) part of the ADR obligations falls away, which often lets the goods travel as normal groupage. Current as of August 2026.

Milton Keynes warehouse for this group

In Milton Keynes we handle transshipment and consolidation of chemicals within the scope permitted for the site, with a packaging integrity check after the journey and a photo report. Goods with damaged outer packaging are repacked before onward delivery.

How to prepare ADR goods for shipping

Most ADR delays come from missing data, not from the carriage itself. Before quoting we will ask for the safety data sheet, the UN number, the packing group and the type and number of packages. Units must be in certified packaging with correct marking, and pallets need a stable layout with nothing protruding. If something is off, we say so before loading, because fixing markings at a ferry terminal ends with a lost booking.

Non-ADR chemicals have their rules too

A large share of industrial chemicals sits outside ADR but still needs safety data sheets and common sense about what loads together. Big bags of granulate are secured against shifting, and IBCs with liquids travel at floor level with full lashing. That is how the same consolidated line can safely combine chemicals with neutral industrial cargo.

Frequently asked questions

Do you carry ADR goods as groupage from one pallet?
Yes, ADR groupage is standard in this group: single pallets of dangerous goods travel in consolidated trucks under the mixed-loading rules. We need the safety data sheet, UN number and packing group before quoting.
Which documents are needed to carry chemicals to the UK?
The safety data sheet (SDS), the UN number with packing group for ADR goods, the invoice and the packing list. From these we prepare the ADR transport document, the export declaration, the UK import entry and the GMR.
Will ADR goods cross by ferry or Eurotunnel?
It depends on the class and quantity: ferry operators and Eurotunnel have their own restrictions for individual ADR classes. We check them before departure and match the crossing to the goods so the truck is not turned away at the gate.
How does an LQ consignment differ from full ADR?
Limited quantities (LQ) are small unit packages within the ADR thresholds: part of the obligations falls away and the goods can often travel as normal groupage. We check whether your product fits the LQ limits before proposing the carriage method.
