What we carry

Building materials and finishes

Building materials transport from Poland to the UK: precast concrete, stone and tiles, fencing, structural timber. Site deliveries across the UK.

We carry building and finishing materials from Poland to the United Kingdom: precast concrete, stone, granite and tiles, fencing and gates, structural timber and materials for development projects. We deliver to construction sites and builders' merchants across the UK, with customs on our side and booked unloading slots.

What exactly we carry

  • general building materials: drywall systems, insulation, construction chemicals
  • precast concrete: wall and floor elements and concrete goods
  • stone, granite, marble and tiles, in crates and on racks
  • fencing, gates and balustrades
  • structural timber, roof trusses and timber-frame elements
  • joinery for fit-out projects

How we carry and secure it

In construction cargo the damage comes from mass and edges, so stone and tiles travel in crates or on racks lashed to EN 12195, precast elements on bearers with the weight spread across the axles, and long items in reinforced-curtain trailers. Unloading is planned in advance: a site without a ramp means a tail-lift vehicle or unloading with the consignee's equipment, agreed before departure.

Documents and procedures

Our team prepares the export and import declarations and the GMR; for the filings we need weights, values and commodity codes from the HMRC trade tariff. Wooden packaging, pallets and crates exported to the UK must meet the ISPM 15 standard for wood packaging material. For truck deliveries into London the DVS visibility standard applies to vehicles over 12 tonnes. Current as of August 2026.

Milton Keynes warehouse for this group

Milton Keynes works as a project buffer: we receive material from several trucks, build staged deliveries to the site schedule and bring to site exactly the items needed in a given week. That limits on-site storage and damage risk.

Staged deliveries to the site schedule

A construction site rarely needs everything at once and rarely has room to store it. So large orders are split into stages: material arrives from Poland in full trucks to Milton Keynes, and weekly deliveries go to site according to the works schedule. Changing the stage order is a phone call to the warehouse, not a new transport from Poland. On projects with many call-offs we keep a simple ledger: what arrived, what was issued, what is waiting.

Unloading on site

Before departure we agree how the site will unload the truck: an all-terrain forklift, a crane on the consignee's side, or our tail-lift for lighter pallets. We also confirm the access details: weight limits, delivery hours and where the truck can stand. Those five minutes of conversation save hours of waiting at the gate.

Frequently asked questions

Do you deliver materials directly to construction sites in the UK?
Yes, we deliver to sites across the UK. Unloading is agreed before departure: a tail-lift vehicle, unloading with the consignee's equipment, or staged deliveries from the Milton Keynes buffer to the site schedule.
Do pallets and crates have to meet ISPM 15?
Yes, wood packaging material exported to the United Kingdom must meet the ISPM 15 standard: heat treatment and a legible mark. This covers pallets, crates and dunnage; the timber goods themselves go through normal customs clearance. Current as of August 2026.
How do you carry stone, granite and tiles so they arrive intact?
Stone travels in crates or on A-frames, tiles on pallets with corner protectors and no stacking beyond packaging strength. We lash to EN 12195 and plan the weight distribution so the truck passes weighbridge checks.
Can you deliver materials by truck into London?
Yes. In London trucks over 12 tonnes must meet the DVS visibility standard with a valid permit, and low-emission zones charge older vehicles. We match our vehicles and routes so the city delivery goes through without penalties. Current as of August 2026.
