We carry electronics and technology from Poland to the United Kingdom: home appliances, lighting and LED, IT equipment including servers, vending machines and photovoltaic components. High-value goods travel in reinforced-curtain trailers, with CARGO insurance on top of the carrier liability policy and full control of the consignment at every handling point.

How we carry and secure it
Electronics reacts badly to moisture, shocks and handling, so we minimise the number of operations: goods travel in consolidated trucks on a fixed route or in a dedicated vehicle without transshipment. Pallets are wrapped, separators are used, and stacking happens only where the packaging allows it. For servers and high-value equipment we arrange CARGO insurance on top of the EUR 1,000,000 carrier liability cover.
Documents and procedures
Export and import customs and the GMR are on our side; for the declarations we need the invoice, packing list and commodity codes. Electrical devices for the UK market need correct UKCA or CE conformity marking under the transition rules, and equipment with lithium batteries needs ADR documentation (UN 3480/3481). In Milton Keynes we run buffer stock for contracts and seasonal peaks, repacking to retail-chain standards, labelling and consolidation of collected return batches: cargo inspection, a photo report and a decision on where the goods go next.
Value and risk: how we keep them down
With electronics, organisation decides more than chance. We limit the number of hands on the goods: a fixed crew, sealed trailers, parking chosen for security and no co-loading without the client's knowledge. Transport documents can describe the goods generically so they do not invite curiosity. For high-value batches we agree a per-truck limit and split the shipment into two runs if that lowers the accumulation risk.
Return loads, service and swaps
Electronics generates reverse traffic: end customers send equipment back, retailers return end-of-line stock, service teams swap modules. Individual parcels from end customers are handled by the seller or their parcel operator. We come in where the goods already stand on a pallet: receipt in Milton Keynes, short-term storage while the batch is built up, cargo inspection with a photo report, and carriage to Poland or documented disposal on site.
For medical and laboratory equipment the carriage regime is agreed up front: temperature range, transport position and how the unit is handled. Devices travel in the manufacturer's packaging or in crates built for the specific piece, and unloading is planned with a tail-lift and room to carry the unit inside. We photograph the condition at loading and again at unloading.
