SENT registration step by step

How to file a SENT notification: the roles of sender, receiver and carrier, PUESC registration, the GPS locator, updates and closing the notification.

A SENT notification is split between roles: the sending party, the receiving party and the carrier, each completing their part in the PUESC system. After registration a SENT number is created, the carrier starts the GPS locator, the data is updated on any change, and after delivery the notification is closed. Gaps carry penalties.

Step by step

  • Register the account and the entity in the PUESC system.
  • The sender creates the notification with the goods and route data.
  • The carrier completes their part and switches on the GPS locator.
  • Update the notification on changes, e.g. the means of transport.
  • The receiver confirms delivery and the notification is closed.
PUESC is the Electronic Services Platform of the Customs and Tax service, where SENT notifications are filed.

This is general information, not legal advice. We help set the roles and handle the SENT notification during the haul. See services and customs clearance.
