A SENT notification is split between roles: the sending party, the receiving party and the carrier, each completing their part in the PUESC system. After registration a SENT number is created, the carrier starts the GPS locator, the data is updated on any change, and after delivery the notification is closed. Gaps carry penalties.
Step by step
- Register the account and the entity in the PUESC system.
- The sender creates the notification with the goods and route data.
- The carrier completes their part and switches on the GPS locator.
- Update the notification on changes, e.g. the means of transport.
- The receiver confirms delivery and the notification is closed.
PUESC is the Electronic Services Platform of the Customs and Tax service, where SENT notifications are filed.
