MSPO, the International Defence Industry Exhibition, takes place at the Targi Kielce exhibition centre. Exhibit transport to MSPO is planned around three elements: the delivery notification and unloading slot at the venue, a buffer warehouse close to the exhibition grounds and — for foreign exhibitors, including those from the United Kingdom — an ATA carnet and customs clearance. OPTIMUS TRANSPORT runs a cross-dock base in Kielce, right by Targi Kielce.
Delivery to the Targi Kielce venue
Targi Kielce, like every large exhibition venue, works to a build-up and breakdown schedule set by the event organiser. We always confirm assembly and dismantling dates and unloading slots with the organiser — a delivery outside the assigned window may not be admitted to the grounds. Vehicle and driver details are notified in advance, and at MSPO, given the nature of the event, additional entry checks and vehicle traffic controls on the grounds should be expected.
A buffer warehouse next to the venue
The biggest logistical advantage an MSPO exhibitor gains by working with us is location: our cross-dock base operates in Kielce, in the direct hinterland of Targi Kielce. Exhibits, stand structures and materials can arrive earlier — from Poland, from the wider region or from the United Kingdom — wait safely under a roof and enter the venue exactly in the unloading slot. This removes the risk of arriving late and separates the long-haul leg from the precise, timed final delivery.
A foreign exhibitor at MSPO: ATA carnet and clearance
An exhibitor from outside the European Union — for example a British company — brings exhibits into Poland across the EU customs border. For equipment that returns home in full after the fair, an ATA carnet is the most convenient route: temporary admission without duty and VAT, stamped on entry into the EU and on the return. Materials that stay in Poland (catalogues, giveaways, samples) require standard import clearance. The rules of the document are explained in ATA carnet, what it is, and the full scenario for a British company in our guide UK exhibitor at Kielce fairs. Note: some defence-industry exhibits are subject to separate permits and restrictions — these formalities sit with the exhibitor and we confirm them before accepting the order.
The return after the fair
MSPO logistics ends only after breakdown: we collect the exhibits from the stand in the assigned window, store them at the Kielce base until a consolidated transport if needed, and organise the return — to a Polish exhibitor or back to the United Kingdom, with a full set of stamps on the ATA carnet.
The full scope of exhibitor services is described in the exhibition logistics hub, and the border formalities in customs clearance. Exhibiting at MSPO? Write to us — send the list of exhibits and the confirmed build-up windows, and we will prepare a delivery plan with a buffer next to the venue.
