Transport to the SEC Glasgow, post-Brexit customs and ATA

How to deliver goods to the SEC in Glasgow: Scotland is part of Great Britain, so the same post-Brexit customs, ENS and GMR apply.

The SEC (Scottish Event Campus) is an exhibition and events complex in Glasgow, Scotland. Scotland is part of Great Britain, so the same post-Brexit customs apply as for England: an ENS declaration, GB import documents and a GMR. For exhibits returning unchanged an ATA carnet is used.

Keep in mind

  • The same customs procedures as for all of GB: ENS, import documents, GMR.
  • Slots and bookings per SEC rules.
  • ATA carnet for exhibits returning unchanged (no duty and VAT).
  • A longer drive north, planned around unloading windows.
GMR (Goods Movement Reference) is the GVMS movement number the driver uses to cross into GB, including on the way to Scotland.
