In Poland the ATA carnet is issued by the Polish Chamber of Commerce (Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza, KIG). To obtain it you submit an application with a general list of goods covering descriptions, values and weights, lodge a security (deposit) against possible customs charges and pay an issuing fee. The amount depends on the value and type of goods.
What to prepare
- An application to KIG as the issuing body.
- A general list of goods with description, value and weight.
- A security for the charges (a deposit or another form).
- The carnet issuing fee.
This is general information, not legal advice; KIG confirms the details. At OPTIMUS TRANSPORT we plan the haul around a ready carnet. See exhibition logistics and services.
