Targi Kielce is one of the largest exhibition centres in Poland, host of MSPO, PLASTPOL and AGROTECH among others. Exhibitor logistics covers the transport of exhibits and stand structures, delivery in the build-up slot, a buffer warehouse next to the venue and the return after the event. OPTIMUS TRANSPORT runs a cross-dock base in Kielce, in the direct hinterland of Targi Kielce, and serves exhibitors from Poland, the CZ/SK/AT/HU region and the United Kingdom.
The main events at Targi Kielce
The Targi Kielce calendar spans events with very different logistics — from light conference stands to machines weighing many tonnes. For the three most demanding ones we have prepared separate guides:
- MSPO — exhibit transport: the International Defence Industry Exhibition; notifications, entry checks, foreign exhibitors with an ATA carnet.
- PLASTPOL — machinery transport: the plastics and rubber processing fair; heavy injection moulding machines and lines, unloading by crane and 5-tonne forklifts.
- AGROTECH — farm machinery: agricultural technology; oversized loads, low loaders and deliveries exactly in the slot.
Event dates, build-up and breakdown windows and delivery rules are always confirmed with the organiser — every edition has its own schedule.
Warehouse facilities next to the venue
Our cross-dock base in Kielce sits in the direct vicinity of the exhibition grounds and acts as the exhibitor buffer: a ramp, a lorry-mounted crane, forklifts with a capacity of up to 5 tonnes and space to store stand structures and exhibits before and after the event. In practice this means a simple, delay-resistant pattern: the long-haul transport arrives at the base in advance, and a short final delivery enters the venue exactly in the unloading slot. The same mechanism works at breakdown — the stand leaves the hall quickly, and the return transport collects it from the base at a convenient date. More about the facilities: warehousing.
Slot deliveries: how we plan
- Confirmation of the build-up and breakdown windows with the event organiser.
- Notification of the vehicle, driver and load per the venue rules.
- A load list with dimensions and weights — it drives the vehicle and unloading equipment.
- A buffer at the Kielce base for long-haul deliveries and heavy loads.
- A contact person at the stand to receive the delivery.
Foreign exhibitors: the region and the United Kingdom
We serve exhibitors from Czechia, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary in the consolidation-through-Poland model — the exhibits meet at our base and enter the venue in one delivery window. Exhibitors from the United Kingdom cross the EU customs border: exhibits returning after the fair travel best on an ATA carnet, while goods staying in Poland require import clearance. The full scenario for British companies, including consolidation at our Milton Keynes warehouse, is described in the guide UK exhibitor at Kielce fairs, and the formalities in the customs clearance hub.
From enquiry to the return of exhibits
The complete service looks like this: a quote based on the load list and the event dates, collection at the exhibitor, transport to Kielce, a buffer at the base, delivery in the slot, and after the event collection from the stand and the return. One order, one team, one responsibility — instead of a chain of subcontractors.
The full trade fair offer is in the exhibition logistics hub. Planning a stand at Targi Kielce? Write to us — send the event, the load list and the confirmed windows, and we will prepare the logistics plan from A to Z.
